Instructions
- Prepare barbecue for direct cooking using medium-high heat (210°C-250°C). Preheat barbecue with a barbecue-safe frying pan.
- Coat onions in oil. Once the barbecue has preheated, add the onions to the pan. Close the lid of the BBQ, cook over direct-medium-high heat for 15 minutes, checking and stirring the onions until softened.
- In the meantime, place sausages onto grill and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove sausages, rest for a few minutes, then slice on the diagonal.
- Place a slice of sausage onto a Jatz and top with caramelized onions.
